The BFA (Bibs Football Association) have made changes to the Player Ranking System ahead of the exhilarating clash between Bibs and Non-Bibs which takes place Monday 4th of August at 9pm.
Changes include a brand new tier to be introduced just below tier 1. This means that in total they’ll be 6 whole tiers and anyone in a tier below 1 will be moved down for the time being. The President of the BFA states that the change will help differentiate the good from the very good and that in the long run will lead to more entertaining match ups.
The first player to occupy the Empty Tier 2 is G.Forbes after his tantalising performance last week, having scored many of goals and leaving the oppositions defence quaking in their boots.
The BFA has also decided to boost J.Knight from Tier 4 to Tier 3, after churning out another strong performance in the defence. The player albeit having a very traditional style to his game is able to glide across the pitch with his lanky legs.
A warning has also been sent out to young D.Pirie, it is rumoured that if he was to drop another stinker, he could find himself dropping down the Player Rankings. The pressure builds on the Ex-Captain, after receiving backlash from the fans for last week’s post match comments.
The Player Rankings will continued to be monitored throughout the season and changes can be made if necessary.
